Information We Collect

When you register for Academy programs or opt in to receive communications, we collect:

• Player Information: first and last name, date of birth, grade, school, and soccer experience level
• Parent/Guardian Information: name, phone number, email address, and relationship to player
• Medical & Safety Information: medical conditions, allergies, emergency contact information, and waiver/consent acknowledgment
• Communication Preferences: your consent to receive communications via SMS, email, or other channels

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Operate our programs and manage player registrations
• Communicate with you about upcoming events, tryouts, camps, and practices
• Send you marketing and promotional messages (SMS, email) about our programs and special offers
• Maintain player safety through medical information and emergency contacts
• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements

Photo & Video Recording Policy

The Academy may photograph and/or video record players during camps, tryouts, practices, games, and other Academy activities. These photos and videos may be used for marketing and promotional purposes on our website, social media, newsletters, and printed materials; documentation of player progress and performance; coaching analysis and training improvement; and Academy record-keeping and archival purposes.

By registering your player with the Academy, you grant us permission to photograph and record your player and use these images and videos as described above, unless you have explicitly opted out in writing. If you wish to opt out of photo/video recording, please notify the Academy in writing at info@alahlysocceracademysocal.com before your player's first activity.

Data Sharing

Your personal information is treated confidentially and is not shared with third parties for promotional, marketing, or commercial purposes.

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing mentioned elsewhere in this policy explicitly excludes mobile opt-in and consent data.

We may share information with coaching staff and Academy administrators only as needed to serve your player, and with legal authorities only if required by law.

Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Since our programs are directed at minors, parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children's participation and authorizing the collection and use of their information. By registering your child, you certify that you are the parent or legal guardian and have the authority to consent on their behalf.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access, update, or correct your personal information by contacting the Academy
• Opt out of promotional communications at any time
• Request that your information be deleted (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Opt out of photo/video recording by notifying the Academy in writing before participation begins
